How did it all began in the world of entertainment?

Mduduzi Mkhwanazi was just a ordinary young guy growing up in his village of Mtubatuba in Kwa-Zulu-Natal, it was until his childhood friend and kwaito star singer Frika influenced him and he started developing love for the entertainment indusrty. He recalls every steps he went through starting up his career and he is promising to offer his best going forward.

Mdu The Artist's first ever competition was in the Music and Vocal competition in the year 2010, the competition was held in KwaZulu Natal Durban which saw Mdu suprising audience by taking the first position in the competition that had many experienced competitors from around and all over the country.

In 2016, while he was still a student at Umfolozi TVET. He entered for Miss and Mr Umfolozi TVET in which he was crowned Mr Umfolozi TVET 2016 for his marvelous performance. According to Mdu, Phethile Mpanza who current hold Miss North Cost helped him prepare for the competition at Umfolozi TVET, But on the outfits he organized everything for himself.

In addition to his modeling and singing career, Mdu The Artist has won himself a chance to represent South Africa at the International ARTS Talent Showcase in Orlando Florida, USA. This come after he entered for the auditions of the IATS in Richards bay and proceeded to Johannesburg where he competed national and he was scouted and selected by the USA agent Kim Mayer to perform in his stage.
